Retaining Wall – Minor Cracking

Some cracking was noted in the retaining wall at the indicated location(s). It is recommended that ALL cracks be sealed to prevent moisture intrusion into the interior portion of wall and prevent the potential of freezing moisture within the cracks expanding and causing additional cracking and damage.


Retaining Wall – Moderate Cracking / Repair

Areas of moderate cracking and deterioration were noted in the retaining wall at the indicated location(s). It is recommended that a qualified masonry contractor be asked to further evaluate and make a repair recommendation.


Retaining Wall – Significant Deterioration

Significant deterioration was noted in the retaining wall at the indicated location(s). It is recommended that a qualified contractor be asked to further evaluate and create an action plan for repairs or replacement.


Wood Retaining Wall – Decay and Deterioration

Upon inspection of the wooden retaining wall components, areas of wood decay and or deterioration were noted. It is recommended that a qualified contractor be asked to further evaluate and create an action plan for repairs or replacement.


Retaining Wall – Bowing/Leaning

The retaining wall was leaning/bowing at the indicated location(s). It is recommended that a qualified masonry contractor be asked to further evaluate and make a repair recommendation.


Retaining Wall – Loose Stone/Pavers

Loose stones or pavers were noted within the retaining wall at the indicated location(s). It is recommended that a qualified contractor be asked to further evaluate and make the necessary repairs.


Retaining Wall – Damage

An area of damage was noted in the retaining wall at the indicated location(s). It is recommended that a qualified contractor be asked to further evaluate and create an action plan for repairs.
