The stained area was tested with a pin style moisture meter and found to be WET at the time of the inspection. This indicates an ACTIVE leak. It is recommended that a qualified contractor be asked to further evaluate and make the necessary repairs. During the repair, all moisture damaged materials should be repaired or replaced.

PLEASE NOTE: A thermal imaging camera does NOT provide definitive proof of a leak but is rather used to determine if further evaluation is merited.
